Food Drive

This coming week-end is a food drive to bring in food and donations to assist 2 area food banks and children's feeding programs. These food banks provide assistance to 26 Texas counties including Hill and Bosque. Our CMA chapter will be having a church service at 10:00 that morning and remaining through the event to assist where needed.
At Christmas time, bikers come out (including us) in full force to provide toys for the kids. Let's begin to do the same and provide food for those same children and families.
Attached is a letter from Blackwolf, founder of the organization hosting this event along w/ the flyer. Please distribute to your friends and come join us for this event.

Emergency Prayer Needed

I got a call from my cousin's wife today. They ride with Sons of Texas in the Dallas area. Some of their brothers and sisters in the Houston area went down today. Three bikes went down. Two guys went to UNTB in Galveston, one with no "on command" movement from the neck down. A husband and wife on one bike went to Hermann Hospital in downtown Houston. The wife passed away shortly after getting to the hospital. I'm asking for prayer for these folks. Please send this out to our extended CRMM family. We have all experienced these kinds of tragedies lately and know what the folks are going through. Thanks so much in advance!

Shirley Smith

Hi everybody, I just got in from visiting Shirley. She is in the hospital again in Tyler at Mother Frances room 4415. She is receiving more blood. She seemed in good spirits, but is growing tired of this continuing problem. Please pray that they find the problem this time and are able to do something about it or that God heals her completely. The heart doctor doesn't believe it is a problem with her valve so they may transfer her to Baylor tomorrow.

PLEASE PRAY for these two urgent situations:

Sent: Friday, July 31, 2009

Friends and Fellow Servants,

I just received a call from SWTBFC Chapter Elder Jeff Churchill. Our brother Adam Palacios, AKA Adam Bomb was just involved in a very bad accident on his motorcycle. According to Jeff, Adam did not survive the wreck.

I don't have any more information than that. Please pray for Adam's family, his brothers and sisters and the larger family of BFC in Texas.

I will send out more information as I get it. Please don't call Jeff right now as he is in the middle of it down there. Send him emails to let him know you are praying for the whole situation and we will plan an appropriate response.

Bro. Mike is leaving for Corpus Christi right now so let's keep him in prayer too.

Love & Respect,

Rod

A Time of Fellowship

This letter is meant for my Texas brothers and sisters, but if you are a CR in LA or AR take it as a compliment and for my WI and NV brothers I have faith it will soon be beneficial to you so that as you grow you can learn from our mistakes.
I had the privilege of attending Mr. Rays funeral yesterday in Oak Grove LA. The LA chapters of CRMM were well represented. There were members from all over the state there to celebrate his life, but what was such a blessing to me came after the funeral when we all headed to Wendy's for a cold drink and some cold air. You see, there were several chapters from all over the state there as I said earlier and the one chapter from AR that the LA brothers have adopted as their own, but you would not have known it. They came together as one family. I only knew there were more than one chapter there because I knew the individuals and where they were from. They truly love each other and enjoy the time in each others company. After we left I felt like this was what we are missing in TX right now. So many of our chapters are struggling under the enemies attack right now and we need to get together to lift each other up and encourage one another. I have an idea of getting as many together as we can quarterly. Like a Sat in Jan, April, Jul and Oct. It needs to be a time of fellowship though, not a time of sitting in a church service together but a time of getting to know one another. Each chapter could take turns hosting it. It could be like a covered dish social or something where every chapter brings enough food to feed their group and we put it all together and have a good time. Does anybody have any ideas on this? Would any chapter like to volunteer to kick it off. Please let me know your suggestions, as getting every body together as one family needs to be done. My compliments to the LA chapters and leaders (and you to Rick) for what you all have done.

Pop Tucker

Pop Tucker gave a great message today at New Life Church today in Richardson.

Pop is a very active leader and member in Circuit Riders Motorcycle Ministry. He is a man that speaks not just from his heart but from Gods as well. Pop, has the look and demeanor of a lifelong biker, and the anointing and spirit of a lifelong servant of God.

It is this combination that enables him to ride into the depths of darkness in this world and fulfill the Great Commission so successfully.

He has been following this mandate from God for over 20 years now and is not looking back. Pop believes what he says, and DOES what he says. When he preaches, he allows the spirit of God to direct him and knows God will Change the people.

Pop knows the bikers he speaks to are hungry and he is busy trying to fill that hunger, not with drugs and alcohol, but with the word of God. He wont twice about offering prayer or a song if God directs, and God has truly blessed him for it.

To learn more about this servant of God, and Circuit Riders Motorcycle Ministry please visit the Circuit Riders Website.

Prayer Request

Delivered Chapter President Steve Thompson is in need of prayer. On Saturday night Steve was
riding his motorcycle home and was injured as he fell victim to a hit and run. He was rushed to Baylor Hospital, where he was treated for 2 broken ribs and several other injuries. He was realesaed within a few hours after being treated. He is now able to move around with the help of a walker but is in extreme pain. We are believing for a quick recovery and that the pain would subside quickly. Steve has also asked us to be praying for the driver of the vehicle that hit him. We are not sure how the case will be handled but we are praying for him as well. Steve is happy for all the well wishes and asked us to thank everyone who called and visited. For More Information Please call 972.234.6009
